March gathering

The 17th Ragamuffin Cooking Club is hereby announced!

Theme: St. Patrick's Day (British Isles - Scotland, Wales, England, Ireland)
Date & Time: Saturday, March 17th 24th, 6:30pm
Place: Chad & Karen's

Mardi Gras

Well, despite a flurry of snow, almost everyone came out for the Mardi Gras cooking club festivities! We enjoyed some authentic N'awlins music and dishes. No leftovers were to be found this time around!
We feasted on:
  • Jumbalaya with chicken and sausage from Chad
  • Chicken sauce piquante from Karen
  • Macque choux (spicy corn) from Rebekah & Michael
  • Red beans & rice with sausage from Michelle
  • Hurricanes, the classic cocktail from Phil & Rose
  • White chocolate bread pudding from Toni & Michael
  • Pecan pralines from Rachel
  • Beignets from Jessica
  • Coffee with chicory from Jonathan & Jill
